OFL reopened for limited services on Monday, July 13th.  Entry is by appointment only. To accommodate as many patrons as possible and still maintain social distancing, we are limiting appointments to 30 minutes (1 hour for computer/WiFi use). To make an appointment call the library at (315) 492-1727.

When entering the library...

  • Face coverings must be worn at all times.
  • 6 ft. social distancing must be maintained.
  • You will sign in. Signing in will attest that you are saying NO to the following questions:
      1. Do you currently have a fever above 100.4 degrees?
      2. Do you currently have any of the following symptoms?
        •Sore throat or a cough
        •Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing
        •Muscle pain
        •Chills
        •Headache
        •New loss of taste or smell
        •Congestion or runny nose
        •Nausea or vomiting
        •Diarrhea
      3. Does anyone in your household have two or more of any of the symptoms above?
      4. In the past 14 days, have you been exposed to anyone who has tested positive with COVID-19?
      5. In the past 14 days, has anyone in your household been exposed to anyone with COVID-19?
      6. Have you traveled to one of the states on the NYS travel advisory list in the last 14 days?

*If you answer yes to any of the questions listed above, we ask that you call the library to reschedule your appointment.

Returning Library Items

OFL's outdoor drive-thru book drop has been reopened. All library items must be returned via the book drop.  Learn more...

Building Enhancements:

  • HVAC unit has been upgraded to include a REME HALO in duct air purification system in all units that uses ultraviolet light to purify the air and MERV 13 filters in all units.
  • Plexiglas guards have been installed at all service desks
  • Social distancing markers have been placed at service desks and entrances
