Volunteer
Adult Volunteers
We value adult volunteers and their dedication to connecting the community while supporting the mission of the Friends of Onondaga Free Library.
Volunteers are needed to assist the Friends with activities such as: book sales, annual membership drive, Festival of Trees and outreach events.
These volunteer opportunities are offered by the Friends, not library staff and may take place at the library or off site.
If you are interested in volunteering with the Friends, please contact them via email: oflfriends@gmail.com.
Junior Library Volunteers (JLV)
For teens in grades 7-12
Do you want to volunteer at the library? Join our team of emerging teen leaders. Make a positive impact in your community working with peers on projects for the library.
Volunteers help plan library events, create book displays and write book reviews, and complete community service projects.
This group can help teens fulfill required volunteer service hours and prepare for future college and career opportunities.
If you have additional questions about the Junior Library Volunteers, please contact the library by phone at (315) 492-1727 or email us.
